Shia LaBeouf Chases Homeless Man, Interrupts Broadway Play, Gets Arrested

Actor Shia LaBeouf was removed by police from a New York City theater last night for allegedly interrupting a play and harassing the actors. The production was "Cabaret” starring Michelle Williams and Alan Cumming.

Reports say that LaBeouf grabbed Cumming's behind when he walked through the audience and made noises while Williams was singing.

A theater security guard called the police who removed the actor during the show's intermission.

According to The Smoking Gun, LaBeouf screamed at Police Officer Joseph Pecora, “F--- you,” “This is f------ b------,” and "Do you know who the f--- I am?”

When the actor was taken to a police station for booking, he spat in Officer Pecora’s direction, notes the police report.

“He’s cursing. He’s jabbering away. He won’t shut up,” a police source told the New York Daily News.

LaBeouf was charged with criminal trespass, harassment, and disorderly conduct, but pleaded not guilty this morning in court where he appeared with a public defender.

LaBeouf was reportedly drinking heavily yesterday at a nearby bar before he went to the theater.

“He was sitting there s----faced. He had been drinking all day,” stated witness John Sobel. “I thought he was acting for some bizarre YouTube video. There was a guy sitting directly across from him filming him on his phone.”

Page Six notes that, before his theater meltdown, LaBeouf chased a homeless man and demanded his McDonald’s bag in Times Square.

“He really wanted whatever was in that bag," a witness told Page Six. "He had so much focus… If there were French fries in the bag, maybe he really wanted to eat them."
