Rush Limbaugh: Obama Won't Be Impeached Because He's Black

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh said on Monday that Obama isn’t in trouble over any of his recent scandals because the people won’t allow the first black president to be impeached.

“In my humble thinking, the people of this country, if it came to this, are simply not going to tolerate the first black president being removed from office,” Limbaugh said.

He went on to explain that Benghazi “won’t touch him,” noting that Obama is immune from repercussions for the rest of his presidency because of his skin color.

Limbaugh’s comments come after countless Republican attacks on the White House regarding Benghazi, the IRS, and the Justice Department. Amazingly, despite weeks of mud-slinging, Republicans have little to show for their efforts as Obama’s approval rating has remained unchanged.

Though Limbaugh is correct in his assessment that Obama won’t be impeached, it’s (obviously) not because of his skin color. It’s because he hasn’t done anything wrong. For years, the Republicans have alleged that the POTUS is a bad seed looking to send the country into peril and despair. Yet, despite it all, none have ever offered up proof of any wrongdoing. Not. Once.
