Reese Witherspoon's arrest was pretty shocking when it made headlines and now the mom of three is opening up about that crazy night.

"I saw [the cop] arresting my husband and I literally panicked," Witherspoon explained on Good Morning America. "I told him I was pregnant. I'm not pregnant. I said all kinds of crazy things."

Witherspoon and husband, Jim Toth, were arrested after being pulled over on April 19 for suspected DUI.

"We went out to dinner in Atlanta and we had one too many glasses of wine," she continued. "We thought we were fine to drive and we absolutely were not. We know better and we shouldn't have done that."

After the arrest, it was revealed that Witherspoon was not so nice to the police.

"Do you know my name?" she said to the cop during the arrest. "You're about to find out who I am."

"I was so disrespectful to him," Witherspoon admitted. "I have police officers in my family. I work with police officers every day. I know better. It's just unacceptable. Yesterday I spoke to them and again just said, 'There is no reason to be disrespectful to a police officer.' Again, I just panicked."
