Best known as everybody's favourite foul-mouthed womanising half-man, Tyrion Lannister, Peter Dinklage has joined the cast for the upcoming sequel to X-Men: First Class. The announcement was made by director Bryan Singer on Twitter, so it's safe to say it's legit.
We would like to welcome him, too, because here at HM, we've been major Dinklage fans ever since we first noticed him in Nip/Tuck, and we are excited to see what he does with a superior comic book movie. Well, we're assuming X-Men: Days of Future Past will be superior, because First Class certainly was. He's shown comedy chops, sensitivity and the ability to nibble on scenery in the past, which we think makes him perfect for X-Men.

X-Men: Days of Future Past has a slated release date of July 18th, 2014, though, so don't get too excited, too soon, eh?
