Miley Cyrus recently shocked the public with her twerking performance on the Video Music Awards on MTV.
Cyrus took it one step further by spanking a twerking dwarf on the German TV show "Schlagg Den Raab" on Saturday (video below).
She performed her current single "We Can’t Stop" with a back-up band of dwarves, who played instruments and sang vocals.
Cyrus also posted a backstage picture with her dwarf band on Twitter.
Her odd performances may have cost her a cover on Vogue magazine.
According one source, Cyrus had been photographed for the December issue of the magazine, but Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour reportedly axed that plan after the VMAs.
"Anna found the whole thing distasteful. She decided, based on Miley’s performance, to take the cover in a different direction," the unnamed source told the Daily Mail.
Cyrus is embarrased by her earlier hits as her wholesome alter-ego, Disney's Hannah Montana.
"Right now, when people go to iTunes and listen to my old music, it's so irritating to me because I can't just erase that stuff and start over. My last record I feel so disconnected from. I was 16 or 17 when I made it. When you're in your 20's, you just don't really know that person anymore. I want to start as a new artist. I consider my upcoming album my first, really," Cyrus told Billboard magazine earlier this year.
