Michael Jordan is out of the woods from a paternity test filed against him.
Pamela Smith claimed that Jordan was the father of her 16-year-old son and had filed a paternity and child support suit against the NBA legend. However, Smith asked a Georgia court to withdraw her case without prejudice and the court granted the request. Because it was withdrawn without prejudice, Smith can refile at a later time. Jordan has denied the child is his.
Pamela's attorney Randy Kessler told TMZ, she dropped the case on his advice that "dismissal at this time, without prejudice, is in her son’s best interests."
Jordan has three children from his previous marriage to Juanita Janoy. The couple divorced in 2006. Jordan is currently engaged to Yvette Prieto.
