Sheindlin will also get to produce new TV shows, such as "Hot Bench," as part of her deal.
The financial terms of Sheindlin's new deal have not been revealed, but TV Guide reports that the 72 year old has been making $47 million a year, making her the highest-paid TV star.
SportsGrid.com compared her reported $47 million annual salary to the highest-paid athletes and found that Sheindlin could be making more than the top baseball player, Clayton Kershaw of the Los Angeles Dodgers, who rakes in $30.7 million.
However, Sheindlin would still trail auto racer Kimi Raikkonen, $51 million, boxer Floyd Mayweather, $72 million, and racing star Sebastian Vettel, $80 million.
