Jimmy Kimmel: “Leno Hasn’t Been a Good Stand-Up in 20 Years"

| by Michael Allen

ABC-TV late night host Jimmy Kimmel recently slammed 'Tonight Show' host Jay Leno in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine.

Kimmel said: “He’s totally sold out. Leno hasn’t been a good stand-up in 20 years. As a comedian, you can’t not have disdain for what he’s done. He was a master chef who opened a Burger King.”

Kimmel’s said his feud with Leno began in 1992 when Leno beat out David Letterman for the 'Tonight Show.'

This coming week, Kimmel's show moves to 11:35 PM, the same time slot as Leno.

On the flip-side, Kimmel called NBC-TV late night host Jimmy Fallon a “worthy competitor.”
