The "Today" show co-host then talked about her law degree and pregnancy, which caused Stern to warn her not to leave the show or face replacement.

“How long do you plan for maternity leave?” Stern asked. “If I was you, take an hour, have the baby, and get right back on.”

According to Mediaite.com, Guthrie said she would be absent from the morning show for a few months.

“Savannah has the baby," said Stern. "Savannah then has postpartum depression, comes back to the Today show, kills Matt on camera… Wouldn’t that be amazing?”
