Gun Rights Video Mocks Celebrities in 'Demand a Plan' Gun Control Ad

| by Michael Allen

Gun rights advocates have posted a video which mocks Hollywood celebrities who support gun control in the 'Demand a Plan' campaign (video below).

The parody video (below) posted on YouTube, called 'Demand a Plan? Demand Celebrities Go F*ck Themselves,' shows Jamie Foxx, Jason Bateman, Beyonce, Amy Poehler, Jeremy Renner, Jon Hamm, Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz, Julianne Moore and Kristen Bell calling for gun control in real life, but also using fake guns in fictional Hollywood films, reports the Daily Mail.

The video labels the stars hypocrites because they appear in violent films -- which are make-believe and do not cause any real deaths -- but call for an end to real-life violence.

When Foxx recalls the Columbine massacre which killed real people, the video cuts to scenes of him pretending to kill bad guys in several of his fictional action movies, including his new film 'Django Unchained.'

'Demand a Plan' was launched by the group 'Mayors Against Illegal Guns' after the elementary school massacre in Newtown, Connecticut.

'Demand a Plan' wants Congress to pass laws that will "require every gun buyer to pass a criminal background check, get military-style assault weapons and high-capacity magazines off our streets and make gun trafficking a federal crime."
