During an interview with HuffPost Live (video below) this week, Simmons stated, "I'm actually saying the thing that needs to be said because the politically-correct climate is bulls---."

"You don't want to upset anybody by saying, 'Learn to speak godd--- English.' So, as an immigrant, I'm telling you, learn to speak godd---- English. It is the key that will unlock the keys to the kingdom," added Simmons.

According to UPI, Simmons later used a black accent and told people not to use the phrase "whassup."

Camilleri responded, "Gene...Gene..."
