During the BET Awards last night, host Chris Rock asked white people if they knew what the BET awards were and who should win.
According to Salon.com, Rock first performed his on-stage monologue, in which he referred to the BET Awards as “the Black World Cup."
He also said the BET is a show where “you’re going to see something you never see: black artists getting credit for something they created."
Rock also poked fun at L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling: “Now let me understand, an 83-year-old white man doesn’t like black people. Is that news? C’mon!”
GossipCop.com notes that Rock later showed a pre-taped interview segment with white people, asking them if they knew what the BET Awards were or what BET stood for (video below).
Rock also asked them questions about rappers and who should win "Best Rapper" at the BET Awards.
