New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) is a huge Bruce Springsteen fan, but may not be for much longer.
Springsteen appeared on “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” last night to poke fun at Gov. Christie and his George Washington Bridge scandal (video below).
Springsteen joined host Jimmy Fallon to perform a parody of “Born To Run" with some changes in the lyrics. Both men were dressed in 1980s Springsteen garb.

"You're killing the working man who's stuck in the Gov. Chris Christie Fort Lee, New Jersey, traffic jam!" Fallon and Springsteen sang, noted Mother Jones.
“Baby, this ‘Bridgegate’ was a big payback, it’s a bitchslap to the state Democrats,” sang Fallon sang while playing an acoustic guitar. “They shut down the tollbooths of glory because we didn’t endorse Christie."
“Governor, let me in I wanna be your friend, there’ll be no partisan divisions,” sang Springsteen. “Let me wrap my legs around your mighty rims and relieve your stressful condition.”
Springsteen also mocked Gov. Christie’s news conference that went on for nearly two hours.
“The press conference went on and on, it was like one of my own damn shows,” sang Springsteen.
Gov. Christie's office did not respond to a request for comment on Springsteen and Fallon's tune, noted RawStory.com.
Gov. Christie, who has attended over 100 Springsteen concerts, bragged in 2012 that he had met the singer, hugged him and that they were now friends.
