Pop singer Brandy reportedly played to a tiny crowd of only 40 people at the FNB stadium in Soweto, South Africa.
The FNB stadium, which has a capacity of 90,000, hosted the Mandela Sports and Culture Day on Saturday, notes Perthnow.com.
Brandy was a surprise guest, but thousands of people left the arena and South Africa's TV channel SABC ended its coverage before the singer took the stage.
South African musician Kabomo tweeted a description of the scene: "Brandy performed to an empty stadium. With the stadium lights on."
"People didn't know there was a concert after the games. No one knew Brandy was around. Maybe a 40 people audience ... She sulked after two songs and walked off."
"There are more people there on a random Tuesday... Depressing."
