2013 People’s Choice Awards - Complete Winners List

| by I Need My Fix

The awards’ season is upon us with the 2013 People’s Choice Awards being first out of the gate as always (and rightly so considering the fans make the stars rich and famous). They were held at the Nokia Theatre (January 9) in Los Angeles. Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco did hosting duties for the second year in a row and we saw performances by Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera (both very powerful) and more.

Sandra Bullock was eloquent, charming and her amazing self when she accepted the award for the first People’s Choice for Favorite Humanitarian presented to her by her friend and actress Regina King. Prior to her receiving the award we saw a video clip of her work at Warren Easton High School in New Orleans to help them after Hurricane Katrina’s devastation. The Examiner says of her involvement:

The star adopted Warren Easton Charter High School less than six months after Hurricane Katrina and has been actively involved in rebuilding the school. Giving funds for college scholarships, buying band uniforms, athletic equipment other school related projects, the star has given to the youth of the community.

She is so real and amazing at everything she does.

To me the most shocking outfit of the night goes to Taylor Swift, and not because it wasn’t lovely (it was gorgeous) but because I don’t ever recall seeing her dress so provocatively. As you see in the picture above, the slit in the front goes way past the chesticles. The world was waiting with bated breath for a wardrobe malfunction, but there was lots of double-sided tape under that garment (you can even see it in the main picture above ya pervs). It’s interesting how so very soon after her split with One Direction’s Harry Styles, that she dress like this. Not judging, just wondering if she’s turning over a new leaf and we will see more skin? When Olivia Munn took her award away from her, Taylor muttered ‘this always happens’ which was priceless!

Did you watch? Did you like? What did you think of Caley’s hosting? Check out the red carpet slide show after the winner’s list. More photos will be added as they become available.
