Video: Carmelo Anthony Wanted to Fight Kevin Garnett After Knicks vs. Celtics

| by Alex Groberman

Kevin Garnett’s fake tough guy reputation is a matter of public record. The Boston Celtics forward talks a big game, bangs his head against stuff, screams a lot and is big on theatrics, but when push comes to shove, he doesn’t want it with anyone his own size.

Carmelo Anthony is more or less his own size.

During the fourth quarter of Monday night’s showdown between the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics, Anthony and Garnett got into something of a confrontation.

After the game, Anthony apparently felt like their issue wasn’t resolved. Rather than packing up his toys and going home, though, he instead proceeded to where the Celtics team bus was parked and waited for Garnett to come out.

As you would expect, nothing came of this whole mess. Garnett doesn’t want it with Melo – plain and simple.
