Violent Crime rate                     990         955        944       1314  per 100k people

Murders by firearms                  193         178        211        196

Canadian Victimization report mill            1.11        1.6         1.6

1,314/990 = 32% increase in violent crime rate reported since 1997 gun ban!

196/193 = a 1.6% increase in murders by firearms since 1997

So where is the amazing effect gun control has on reduction of violent crime in Canada eh?

Geez, that trend occurs in EVERY gun control country, prove otherwise and oh Canuck-a-Yuck man, your word isn't sufficient to disprove that or anything you inferred was incorrect before. So care to revise your claim of incorrect or manufactured our marxist buddy?

US  Victimization report mill            8.78       7.5         6.46         4.8

611/429 = 42.2% reduction in violent crime rate reported since 1997.

9,146/10,279 = 11.1% decrease in murders by firearms since 1997 (total murders reduction MUCH HIGHER)

Yeah we see how untrustworthy citizens are in the US as we have 9 million more households (US Census) with firearms since 1997, an additional 15 plus states have added concealed carry since 1997, 30 some states allowing carry in diners with less than 51% alcohol sales and multiple states passing permitting carry in bars, (no bloodbaths either).

But hey, we aren't demanding that everyone carry a firearm as we clearly acknowledge incompetents like you can't defend themselves as they don't have the mental stamina to do so.
