Louisville's Buckles Out vs. Kentucky

| by

Rick Pitino announced today forward Rakeem Buckles injured his finger in practice and will miss about two weeks. Obviously, this makes him unavailable for the Kentucky game tomorrow. In his absence, Stephan Van Treese will see an increase in minutes.

This is a significant loss for the Cards. When Rakeem is playing well, he is active on the glass and a threat from outside, presenting a match-up problem for other power forwards.

With Rakeem’s injury, the Louisville injury report sits at four with Jared Swopshire, Mike Marra, and Elisha Justice as out for the UK game according to Pitino.

This judge looked an inmate square in the eyes and did something that left the entire courtroom in tears:

Even though Pitino claims the Bullet probably won’t play, I’d be willing to bet if Peyton Siva gets into a bit of foul trouble, Justice will get on the floor. If he dresses, I think Justice will play, at least some.
