Broken Bat Technology Reduces Injuries

| by

Todays news by MLB in conjunction with the Department of Forestry about a 50 % reduction in the shattered bats in the league is a great bit of news to us who would like to see this safety concern be treated more seriously.

The testing has been done, by this same group at the Lowell testing facility, about "the bat glove" and we should push MLB to enhance their effort with regards to bringing this safety concern to a greater than 50 % reduction in shattered bats by requiring all wooden bats , ash or maple or hickory, to have the bat glove applied.

There is no reason for a player, coach, umpire, or fan to be injured at a game !
