Breast Milk and Environmental Chemicals

Recent reports about the discovery of certain toxins in breast milk have left many young mothers understandably worried. According to a review in the latest issue of Breastfeeding Medicine however, these concerns may be largely unnecessary. Researchers for three separate studies have all concluded that the benefits of breastfeeding far outweigh the risks, and that no serious dangers are posed by traditional nursing.
