The body of a teenager who was sucked out through the sunroof of an SUV during the tornado in Joplin, Missouri has been found.

Will Norton was on his way home from his high school graduation with his father last weekend when the twister flipped over the vehicle. Norton's seatbelt snapped and he flew out through the sunroof, despite his father's efforts to hang onto him.

His family said his body was found Saturday in a pond a short distance from where the SUV flipped, according to the New York Daily News. His body was not found sooner because there was so much debris in the pond.

"At least we know that he wasn't out there suffering," his aunt Tracey Presslor said at a news conference. "Knowing that he was gone right away was really a blessing for us."

The 18-year-old was a well known figure on YouTube -- his comic diary-style monologues received millions of hits.

Norton's sister was on the phone with their father when the tornado touched down.

"He was telling my brother, 'Pull over, pull over,' " Sara Norton said. "I heard the tornado whipping them around. I had a feeling they were flipping around in the air. It was just really scary."

The father survived.
