Glenn Shadix, an actor who starred in the comedy “Beetlejuice,” has died at the age of 58.
Actor Glenn Shadix died on Tuesday at 58 after he fell from his wheelchair and hit his head.
“He was having mobility problems, and he was in a wheelchair,” Susan Gagne, Shadix’s sister, revealed. “It looks like he fell and hit his head in the kitchen, and that’s the cause of death.”
Shadix retired from acting and moved from Los Angeles back to Alabama around four years ago to be close to his family.
Shadix’s first major role was as Otho, an interior decorator, in the Beetlejuice movie. Glenn also did the voice for the mayor in The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Glenn had planned in 2011 to tour military hospitals in the United States and later visit active duty troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Our condolences to Glenn’s family, friends, and fans.
