NFL News: Bears Wolfe Arrested on Many Charges

| by Off The Record

So how have you been keeping busy during the lockout? Some guys are working out. Some are finding other side jobs or businesses. And some just like to get arrested.

That’s what happened to Chicago Bears RB Garrett Wolfe Sunday morning, when he was arrested on charges of retail theft, assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest with violence and disorderly conduct.

We don’t have a ton more details, but you really want to know, don’t you? We do. We saw his mugshot and it looks like there is quite a story here. He’s all beat up and it looks like it all started with him stealing something. But what!? Tell us!

Wolfe was a third-round pick in 2007 and wasn’t tendered an offer from the Bears. So when the lockout is over, he’ll be an unrestricted free agent.
