Gun Advocate's Christmas Card: Armed Santa Claus

| by
WASHINGTON -- "Santa Claus expects big changes in Washington, D.C. next year," says Second Amendment advocate John Snyder of Telum Associates, LLC.

"So do tens of millions of American voters," he added. "People are fed up with the Obama administration and its Capitol Hill lap dogs. That's the message underlying this unique Christmas card."

Snyder sent Senators, Representatives and others the Christmas card showing an armed, surf-boarding Santa Claus riding a tidal wave of change over Washington, D.C. landmarks.

The message "waves of change approaching Washington" appears on the card, which wishes recipients a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Snyder said "the art work depicts what is happening on the political scene. Voters are throwing many extremist left-wing gun prohibitionist politicians out of office as waves of change appear about to wash through the Nation's Capital."

On the card, Santa wears a holstered handgun. He stands on a surfboard with arms outstretched, riding a gigantic wave that appears about to engulf the U.S. Capitol, the White House and the Washington Monument.

An email image of the card is available on request.

A former National Rifle Association editor, Snyder is Public Affairs Director of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Shotgun News has named him the senior rights advocate in Washington.
