In Trouble: Ark. Jail Guard Jessie Lunderby Poses for Playboy

An Arkansas jail guard is on administrative leave after posing for Jessie Lunderby, 21, was the "Cyber Girl of the Week" for June 7, 2010.

A spokesman for the Washington County Sheriff's Office said Lunderby was placed on leave -- with pay -- on Sunday, her first shift since the sheriff's office began investigating whether she violated department conduct by appearing in the pictures.

The semi-nude photo spread identifies Lunderby as a detention officer.

Lunderby is being investigated for possible violation of department policy barring "conduct unbecoming of an officer" and for failing to get permission for off-duty work.

But in an interview with a local TV station, Lunderby said she did indeed have permission. She said she told her supervisors about the shoot beforehand and that it wasn't an issue until after the photos came out.

Sheriff's spokesman Kelly Cantrell said Lunderby would remain on leave until an internal investigation is complete. That process could result in any number of disciplinary measures, Cantrell said, including termination. There is no set timetable for a decision to be made.

But Lunderby says whatever happens, she is happy she posed for the photos, even if her phone is going crazy and her email is clogged with messages from friends and admirers.
