A third suspect has been charged in connection with the November 2015 murder of an Indianapolis pastor’s pregnant wife.

On Jan. 14, prosecutors added two counts of murder against Diano Gordon, 24, of Indianapolis, in relation to the death of Amanda Blackburn, 28, during a break-in at her home.

Gordon, who has been in custody since Nov. 19 for a parole violation, had previously been charged with burglary and theft in connection with two other home invasions that happened a few days before the burglary at the Blackburn home.

Two other Indianapolis men -- Larry Taylor Jr., 18, and Jalen Watson, 21 -- were charged with murder for the Nov. 10 killing of Blackburn. All three suspects are being held at Marion County Jail.

According to a previous report by Opposing Views, Amanda, wife of Davey Blackburn, a local pastor, was 12 weeks pregnant when she was raped and then fatally shot in the head as she tried to defend herself and her 1-year-old son, Weston, from home invaders on Nov. 10. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Taylor is also facing a second murder charge from a fatal shooting that happened during what a prosecutor labeled as an “unprecedented” eight days of crimes.

Marion County Prosecutor Terry Curry said in December Taylor has been charged with murder and robbery in the Nov. 4 death of 27-year-old Rolando Gonzalez-Hernandez.

Gonzalez-Hernandez's body was found next to his SUV at an apartment complex on the west side of Indianapolis.

A witness told police Taylor claimed he had mugged and shot “a Mexican” but found only $10 in his wallet.

“We've charged Mr. Taylor with five very violent crimes in the course of an eight-day period and certainly in our five years in office that's unprecedented,” Curry said in an interview, reports The Associated Press.

Taylor, Watson, and now Gordon face murder charges for the fatal shooting of Amanda Blackburn.

The three also face burglary and other charges in a Nov. 3 home invasion where a young woman was allegedly raped and robbed at gunpoint.

Taylor reportedly attacked the woman with a handgun pointed at the back of her neck, while Watson went through her apartment and took items belonging to the woman and her roommate.

A cellphone, purse, laptop, jewelry, headphones and television, as well as the woman's car, were stolen from her apartment, reports WXIN.

Taylor also faces three counts of rape after police presented DNA evidence.

Taylor is facing 13 further charges, including murder, after the “knowing and intentional killing” of Blackburn, said law enforcement.

Prosecutors have filed for a sentencing augmentation against Taylor, which means he could face an extra 20 years in prison if convicted because Blackburn was pregnant, according to WTHR.
