Andrew Morton, former tabloid journalist and biographer, is ready to write a new book covering the upcoming royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
His previous claim to fame was being the biographer that exposed Princess Diana’s unhappiness in her marriage to Prince Charles, with the book titled Diana: Her True Story. He has also penned weighty tomes, writing about Monica Lewinsky (where is she now?), Tom Cruise, Madonna and Angelina Jolie.
The book will be titled William & Catherine, and he is hoping for a release date soon after the wedding on April 29.
Morton said in a statement: “The nuptials of the English royal family’s most popular and glamorous couple are sure to be essential viewing – not just for England, but for the entire world – and this book will be a gorgeous record of what may well prove to be a turning point in the history of the British royal family.”
Plans are to write about the period from when the couple first met at University, through to their wedding day, with 32 pages alone dedicated to ‘The Wedding’.
For those with word phobia or short attention spans, there will be 150 photos in the book as well.
Make room at home, folks. Everyone will want to have a copy of this coffee table book. But please, no cup marks on the happy couple’s faces!
