This is coming to you late, but better than never. We continue the Agent Selection Scenarios series with Purdue. The Boilermakers destroyed St. Peters by 22 points earlier today, with JaJuan Johnson scoring 16 points and notching 16 rebounds. Purdue will play the winner of Georgetown and VCU, which is in progress at the time of publishing this post. Here are some fairly recent Purdue alumni who have made it in the professional ranks.
- Carl Landry - Andrew “Buddy” Baker (IM Sports)
- Brian Cardinal - Mark Bartelstein (Priority Sports)
- Brad Miller - Mark Bartelstein (Priority Sports)
- Willie Deane – Craig McKenzie (Higher Vision Sports)
- Cuonzo Martin - Andrew “Buddy” Baker (IM Sports)
- Glenn Robinson - David Boyd
Bartelstein and Buddy Baker seem to have a nice grasp on the Boilermaker program. This year expect two players out of Purdue to be selected in the Draft – JaJuan Johnson and E’Twaun Moore. As discussed earlier today, JaJuan Johnson is rumored to be a recruiting target for BDA Sports. I imagine that Duffy et. al. is matched up against Priority Sports for the 6’10 Senior from Purdue. E’Twaun is also a Senior, and also has an impressive stature. Is he going to Priority? Is Buddy Baker making a push? May some other agency throw its name into the ring?
