A woman attempted to return a winter coat she ordered from an online retailer, only to be shocked by their response.

Kelly Blue Kinkel took to Facebook to share the story, writing that she ordered the coat from an online retailer called Zully. Upon receiving the coat, Kinkel realized it wouldn't be a good fit for her.

“When I received my order, I could see through the packaging that the coat material wasn't going to work well with the two breeds of dogs we have," she wrote on Facebook Jan. 4. "Coarse dog hair and certain materials don't mix."

Kinkel called Zully to try and return the item.

“I spoke with a sweet young man named Patrick, and he let me know he would refund my money immediately,” she wrote.

“I asked again how to send it back, and he said, ‘Please don't send it back. If you know someone who needs a winter coat or if you would like to donate it to a charity, that would make us very happy,'" Kinkel added. "I honestly thought he was kidding. It took me a moment to realize he was completely serious, and then came the tears.”

Kinkel noted that the incident made her a loyal customer of the Seattle-based retailer “for life.”

“The world needs more love like that,” she added.

Her Facebook post has since gone viral, garnering over 22,000 likes and 23,000 shares as of Jan. 13.
