For one ex-couple, the fights and bad feelings continue even after the divorce.

Actress Tawny Cypress, 36, is being sued by her ex-husband, Bill Charles, after he was allegedly beat up by her new husband.

According to Charles’ filed report, 58, Cypress invited him to meet their son and her husband at the restaurant Cheeburger Cheeburger. When he arrived at the Brooklyn restaurant, he claims he was attacked and knocked down with a hard object, causing a concussion.

To make matters worse, Cypress and her husband made up a story that caused Charles to spend six nights in jail. While it’s not clear what the story was, it must have been convincing. Charles was charged with four misdemeanors, including assault and acting in a manner injurious to a child.

Cypress and Charles were married from 2000 to 2004. Charles runs a firm representing fashion photographers and Cypress is best known for her work on TV shows HeroesBlue Bloods, and The Good Wife.

Little more has been revealed about this bizarre case, but Charles is due in court on January 23. Charles’ lawyer, Robert Feldman, has spoken out on the event, releasing some details filed in the lawsuit, but Cypress’ camp is staying mum.
