ACLU Wants Cop Who Kicked Suspect in Head Suspended

A police chase in the Los Angeles suburb of El Monte ended with the suspect surrendering and laying face down on the ground, until an officer kicked him in the head and apparently high-fived another officer in celebration.

The incident, captured on tape, has prompted the ACLU to call for the immediate suspension of the officer.

"This video is truly chilling in the clarity with which it captures an egregious example of police abuse. It is perfectly clear that the suspect was prone on a grassy lawn, limbs extended, and lying still," said Ramona Ripston, executive director of the ACLU of Southern California, in a statement.

The El Monte Police Dept. has urged the public not to rush to judgement and has begun to carry out an internal investigation into the officer's actions.

How many people this guy could have kill on the road while driving at that speed. How many people does a criminal have to kill, or how many lives must he put in danger before the ACLU thinks the criminal deserves a little kick in the butt. Which in this case one part of the anatomy or the other don't make much difference.
