After moving to the Western Slope of Colorado, Annie found her wonderful Iyengar teacher Nancy Stechert. She has studied in the Iyengar system for the past 6 years and has begun the rigorous Iyengar assessment process.   Annie currently specializes in pediatric occupational therapy where she combines yoga, movement and fun into sessions with children who have varying diagnoses and issues. She is also a coordinator of the area’s Autism Team where she conducts autism assessments, community outreach and assists school teams in curriculum planning.

Aubrey Hackman

Aubrey Hackman is a certified Jivamukti instructor and founder of the Telluride Yoga Festival. With a strong devotion to the practice of yoga, Aubrey has made it her life’s work to find the best teachers and to bring that quality of instruction to others whether through her teaching or the actual festivals. Her teachers, Sharon Gannon and David Life (founders of Jivamukti Yoga), have illuminated a passion for non-violence and conscious living along with a strong foundation in Yogic philosophy, Asana, Sanskrit, and Vedanta. She also has studied Ashtanga for years with various teachers and completed a 5 week program in Mysore, India with B.N.S. Iyengar and Sheshadri. Though Jivamukti yoga includes a somewhat rigorous vinyasa practice, Aubrey ties in the alignment principals found in different styles of Hatha Yoga and offers therapeutic or restorative classes as well.

Victoria Huffman

Victoria Hoffman has been a devoted practitioner of Ashtanga Yoga for 15 years, and has taught traditional Ashtanga Yoga in Telluride for the last 12 years. She has traveled to Mysore several times to study with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, and R. When he came to the hospital, he said, ‘Chanting very good!’ After receiving Bone Marrow Transplantation, through the love of family and the gift of Yoga (lots of chanting!) Victoria feels she has made a full recovery. She continues to teach traditional Ashtanga yoga with much insight and love.
