13 Injured When NY Bouncy Houses Go Flying

It was a frightening scene in the suburbs of New York City as a strong gust of wind knocked over three bouncy houses that were filled with children -- and it was all captured on videotape.

The houses were set-up at the Oceanside United Soccer Club tournament on Long Island on Saturday when the wind blew through, reports the Daily Mail.

"As children were inside, a heavy gust of wind blew across the field, raising them off the ground and sending them airborne," Nassau County police officer Eric Evensen told CNN. "Once they hit the ground, they began rolling and struck several people on the ground."

The houses blew up to 100 feet from where they started. 13 people, some of them children, were injured, none seriously.
