A 12-year-old girl in Virginia is suffering from sneezing that will not stop, up to 16 sneezes a minute, all day until she falls asleep. Doctors are struggling with a diagnosis. The report shows, but does not make mention of, the half-dozen or so cats in her house. We can only assume doctors checked, and ruled out, allergies as the cause. More from the Associated Press:

    Allergies and Asthma

I really feel sad for Lauren Johnson. I feel the sneezing could be due to Pets allergy or Asthma. Since the doctors have ruled out allergies I think she can go to a pulmonologist and check for Asthma. If people have asthma they will have continuous cold and cough as a result of which they have sneezing and running nose all the time. I think Lauren should be diagnosed for Asthma. Nowadays we have many simple ways where we can diagnose asthma. Few days back my kid has the same problem with continuous cold and cough and I took her to a Pulmo doctor . The doctor using a device called Insight eNO diagnosed that she has asthma based on her exhaled nitric oxide levels. He prescribed medicines accordingly and my kid is fine now. Asthma cannot be cured but it can be controlled.I pray that she find relief soon
