I agree, one size does not fit all. That's why there are a bunch of different styles of Yoga. Depending on each person's individual needs, there is a practice that can be quite fulfilling.

Have you heard of "restorative yoga", for example? It is very gentle and encourages using props to assist in moving closer to a particular pose over time. A great practice for new comers or older folks starting out. While "Bikram Yoga" is more fast paced and strength oriented. Remember, Yoga is much more than simply stretching. It is the unification of body, mind and spirit. I believe these factors need to be considered before objecting to just the physical aspects of Yoga.
