RESEARCH: New Gallup Poll Says Majority of Americans are Pro-Life

Americans are more pro-life than pro- abortion , according to a new Gallup poll . The poll reveals that 51 percent of Americans call themselves pro-life while 42 percent are pro-abortion. Seven percent of respondents had no opinion on the topic. This is the first time the pendulum has swung to the pro-life side since Gallup began conducting the poll in 1995.     Reader: please click on the link to the Gallup Poll... you'll notice that the percentage that support legal abortions in "certain circumstances" is 53%. Add that to the percentage that support full legal abortions in all cases, and you get 75%. Three quarters of those polled support abortion rights, while less than a quarter, 23%, oppose abortion rights.

    Barrack Obama said it best: "No one is pro abortion!"

    According to that poll, a majority of those polled, 53%, support a reasonable approach to abortion rights, and 22% support unlimited access to the abortion option.

    By the way, was that last Pew Research Poll conducted before or after our current president spoke the above mentioned quote?
