Sanford
Do not throw stones. If you're a Republican, think hard before judging Mark Sanford. If you're a Democrat, do not use Sanford's story to your advantage. Being liberal or conservative has nothing to do with having an affair. But how Sanford handled the situation is very much related to his politics . If there's one thing that would keep me out of politics (running for office, I mean) -- aside from the fact that I don't have a politically correct bone in my body, so I'd fail miserably -- is the ... there's something called insaitable ambition

it's a mark of character to raise a family and be content. Anyone in politics who can't do that, is not a noble hero. what's with these standards. I view the president's crime as less, because, his place is a little bit more surreal. it was not an issue of infidelity so much as perjury. if highest executive in the land lies in the highest court, are we not proclaiming the time for anarchy?

this is how i see it.

when i was 19, i was going to run for mayor in a small city. I was ambitious enough to hand bill 10,000 people which would have been a landslide victory. I met this guy and he said to me, as soon as you're seen as a political threat, they will get you. It was just an odd conversation with someone i didn't know, whom didn't know me. two weeks later they had that something on me. So if a small town would have such politics , on a large scale, it's supreme.
