    This is an excellent article and puts much in perspective. It has opened my eyes.
    I would suggest that you take each scripture quoted and read the scripture before and after it.
    We (folks in the religion ilk) like to take a single line or part of a sentence to make a point. When we are really taking it completely out of context.
    Example - in psalms find "Be still and know that I am God"
    Read the entire psalm.

    I have learned to interpret scripture with scripture.

    Excellent Read.
