Yup
Exactly. Thousands of years worth of translators and re-translators and copyists and re-copyists are bound to insert a little personal bias here and there. Heck, a group of 5-year-olds can't even whisper, "Billy is a silly boy," once around the classroom circle without it transmogrifying into, "Billy ate all of Sally's toys."

Straight to the horse's ass
Plus, the original's are much easier to see for what they are:
Blatant presciptions to justify and go about enslaving all women, all your progeny, and most anyone else not in your tribe. Through ridiculous fear tactics, fueled by general ignorance, no less.
Er, hmm, well, I guess the renovations are pretty close, after all...

Various
Berkeley, OU, Rogers State, University of Maryland, Coastline CC, Vincennes, et al.
Not that you need a PhD in Theology to realize how futile textual criticism of Abrahamic religions is.
Hebrew in particular is cute because its antiquated form allowed, amongst other problems, a great deal of inherent equivocating.
The intent was clear, however. See above.

ok, I will play your game
1999/2000 and 1994/Current respectively, though my latest language is Java.
Does that change anything? It's still a pile of demeaning dogma used to indenture people to a cloister of old abrahamic men.
