He is a key religious right operative on Capitol Hill, a lawmaker with possible presidential ambitions, and a deceitful hypocrite. Meet Sen. John Ensign, a Republican senator from Nevada, and a sanctimonious blowhard with a staunch "family values" voting record who opposes abortion rights, wants to re-instate teacher-led prayer in public schools, and steps up to the nearest podium to denounce other public officials who engage in private sexual misconduct. He is also active in the Promise ... Read the Full Article

    No stone thrower here

Well said from non-moral grounded organisation - an Atheist group. LOL! I'm sure the Atheists have no guilt at all for anything they do 'others' consider morally wrong. Must be nice to be accountable for nothing. But teach on. Preach your own self-serving propoganda. What do you say about the Muslim/Islam faithed that would condem him? Got any big arguments for them as well? If this were a story about an Atheist, I guess no big deal. Bah! He has no boundaries to bar him from encroachment. Nice laugh though.

So what's a good "christian" like you doing on a site like this?

To "OutOfControl" I'm not an atheist, and I can tell you I'm sick to death of these so-called "Christian" politicians trying to turn this country into a theocracy. Walk your talk, pratice what you preach, etc. whatever cliche you want to use....and another thing, one doesn't have to believe in God to be a morally good person with a conscience (it just helps).

      Do you believe

that only Christians have rules against adultery? Do you believe only Christians have moral systems?

He wasn't Islamic. It's not hypocritical to break the rules of an organization you don't belong to. He WAS Christian. Those guys DO have rules, and in fact he was a pretty staunch supporter of OTHER people following them, while he pretended to, while he lied about doing so. That makes him a hypocrite. That's worse than simply being an adulterer.
