Do We Still Need Affirmative Action?

Do We Still Need Affirmative Action?

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” Martin Luther King spoke these words in 1963, and they still resonate today. Affirmative action programs were established to create this very type of equality, but have they brought us closer to Dr. King’s dream or hindered it?

    I agree

However, due to liberals who control the educational system in America, we now teach to the lowest common denominator. This, unfortunately, means our brightest get no education , become board and hate school, those who are not as advanced struggle because they have no support network at home and end up dropping out. Hence, no one gets educated. Or, we teach crap like safe sex instead of reading, writing, and math. Then, when people like me want to hire a qualified applicant, I can not find one.
