Budget accountability

Our continued War on Drugs,and focus of our national resources towards the eradication of marijuana has to be justified and accounted for at the end of the day. All the budgets of the Federal organizations,the anti-drug cartel,depend on marijuana remaining illegal because over 1/2 their budgets are used to destroy and prosecute marijuana. If they back off marijuana,they would either lose part of their budget ,or have to implement increased enforcement
of other targets and transfer their marijuana warriors into medicine cabinet searchers,where America's biggest drug threat is today.
The Mexican cartels depend on the continued illegality of marijuana so they can continue making money ,and the anti-drug cartels depend on the same thing,for the same reason.
