Amazing how low we have sunk
It is with grief that I read the above comments. 1)How sad to read people refering to an unborn child as a parasite that kills its host. There is so much dislike and anger towards an innocent member of our race that shocks. What makes this innocent child become such an enemy? Is the fact that he/she is not exactly convenient deserving of the hatred displayed?
2)It is equally shocking to read the disgusting statement that the pro life crowd endorses rape and drools at the possiblitities. Nothing could be further from the truth. No pro life in their right mind approves of such attrocities.
3)The twisted view of human sexuality is not from those who want to protect human life, but rather brought on by those that believe they can have sexual relations without consequences. The fact that the consequences are so serious, ought to make one think and plan before entering into sexual intercourse. A baby is not a form of divine punishment, on the contrary, God said that children were a gift from God. What you do with that gift is your responsability. Remember that sex was God's idea in the first place and as everything He does it is good, when it is done in its proper content between a man and his wife.

Parasite
"n. An animal or plant that lives in, or on another organism, the host, at whose expense it obatins nourishment and shelter."
Source: Funk & Wagnalls Standard College Dictionary
I won't add anything in response to your's and the following poster's endorsements of rape , as I've already expressed by view on that point and your responses openly admit you believe any rapist should be allowed to breed any woman they are able to take by force.
Perhaps you should seek professional help, although I gather even the pros have trouble turning around sexual predators, such as yourselves.

The hard issues
Thank you for the article. After reading it I realized that out of 100,000 pregnancies, there were only 12 deaths . Amazing since the deaths include botched abortions.
Of the 50 million abortions in the US,"Actual percentage of U.S. abortions in "hard cases" are estimated as follows: in cases of rape or incest, 0.3%; in cases of risk to maternal health or life, 1%; and in cases of fetal abnormality, 0.5%. About 98% of abortions in the United States are elective, including socio-economic reasons or for birth control. This includes about 25% for primarily economic reasons."
98% of 50,000 abortions is 49,000,000 babies killed for other reasons than rape and incest. What about that issue?
