    Child-Dependent

It depends solely on the child's maturity. I almost feel like it's a parental instinct when you might know when your child is responsible enough to look after a phone and not abuse the privilege.

I would consider giving any future children one of those phones that restricts which numbers they can call. Like it has a few buttons and it allows them to dial 911, mom, and dad or something like that. Basically for safety reasons.

    Three words: Noneya damn business.

It's nobody's business but me and my child's. Why is this even being debated? If I want to give my 2 month old a cell phone, it's my business and nobody else's. Of course since he/she is a minor I am responsible for the use or misuse of the device, and I as long as I accept that you can just go find somebody else to control.

What's next? Age limits on video games ? Age limits on watching TV?

Stop trying to control every single aspect of everyone's lives people. Don't you have enough crap in your own life to clean up that mine should at the very least be second on your list?
