With a new
book that needs promotion and sweeps month coming up, it seems as though Sarah Palin and Oprah Winfrey need each other. So Palin will make an appearance on Winfrey's show next month.
According to the
Associated Press, Harpo Productions has announced that the two high-profile
women will chat in front of the cameras on November 16, one day before Palin's book
Going Rogue hits bookstores nationwide.
While Winfrey famously supported Barack Obama instead of the McCain/Palin ticket in 2008, the ladies do have something in common to gab about -- feuds with David Letterman. Winfrey has buried the hatchet with the talk show host after a decade-long spat over his use of her as comedy fodder. But Palin and Letterman are still at odds over jokes he made about her daughter.
Palin performed notoriously poorly in interviews during the presidential campaign. She has less to worry about now, since she is no longer in elected office or running for anything (yet). And no one would ever confuse Winfrey's questioning with that of a hardscrabble reporter.
This is the first time Palin and Winfrey will meet each other.

This will help Oprah's ratings.
She did well convincing Palin to join her on the show. I commend Palin for her act of charity... We should all be so giving.

HA
Excellent joke Solar.
I'm excited to see answer some of the tough political questions that Oprah will ask. Her answers should be very intelligent and factual.
