Appearing as a judge on an Australian TV show, American musician Harry Connick Jr. slammed a Michael Jackson impersonator in white face, who was backed by
a fake Jackson 5 in blackface.
"On behalf of my country, I know it was done humorously, but we've spent so much time to not make black people look like buffoons," Connick Jr. said on air, after he was offered an apology by the host. "If I knew that was going to be a part of the show I definitely wouldn't have done it."

So glad he called this out right away and put a stop to it. How rude. And being Australian is no excuse for this "group." Australia has plenty of discrimination against it's own indigenous population to regret and overcome. They'd better start working on it, apparently.
All the liberal loons and all the right wing nut jobs are seeing eye to eye on this one. See? When something is so blatantly wrong, there's no need to argue.
And a big kudos to Harry for the way he handled it. Gave them a big fat ZERO for their "show" and then calmly and rationally explain why he did it. Nice job.

Harry Jr. is known for sometimes being somewhat tempermental, but he handled this well.
