El Pollo Loco has launched a third wave in its full-fledge media assault on the bigger Kentucky Fried Chicken. This time, El Pollo Loco discovered "beef powder" and "rendered beef fat" in KFC's new grilled chicken marinade (confirmed in an ingredient list on KFC's Web site). El Pollo Loco, which is known for cooking its product over flames, has 418 stores in the U.S., while KFC has more than 5,000 nationwide. Here's the ad that is set to air next week:
