The Catholic Church Has Held a Position on This Subject for Centuries
I cannot vote for a man, such as Barack Obama, who says it lacks "humility" to know when the soul enters the body of a child. Evidently it did not occur to Obama that the Catholic Church has held a position on this subject for centuries. The fact that Catholic bishops and parish priests teach it to over 60 million American Catholics did not occur to him. If Obama cannot "presume" to answer "these theological questions" why does he accuse others of pride, like bishops, priests, and ministers, who do so? Take, for example, Chicago's own Cardinal George who, on September 2, reaffirmed the Church's teaching on the matter: "The Catholic Church, from its first days, condemned the aborting of unborn children as gravely sinful....This same teaching has been constantly reiterated in every place and time up to Vatican II, which condemned abortion as a 'heinous crime.' This is true today and will be so tomorrow. Any other comments by politicians, professors, pundits, or the occasional priest, are erroneous and cannot be proposed in good faith."

...no, they can not be Pro-Choice.
The Catholic Church is very strict. According to its own self-proclaimed, self-appointed duty, it is the conduit between Man and God. It's rules - it's laws - are God's rules - God's laws. If you're truly Catholic you accept everything the Vatican says without question. It is God's word.
If you call yourself Catholic and believe you can be Pro-Choice, you're delusional. I consider Catholics who believe this to have "selective faith." They follow the rules of the Vatican that are convenient for them, using the principles of Christianity as fire insurance. "As long as I ask for forgiveness, I will be saved."
