Does Acupuncture Work?

Do you suffer from chronic pain? Maybe acupuncture is just what the doctor ordered. Millions of people say that acupuncture has alleviated their suffering and boosted their bodies, but others insist that it's more rooted in belief than scientific fact. Is acupuncture really the cure for what ails you, or does it only turn you into a human pincushion?

The Ancient Chinese Theories are Not Correct

Doctor/Author: Trick Or Treatment

According to ancient Chinese theories, two opposing types of energy flow in our bodies along meridians (yin and yang). Any disease is thought to be due to an imbalance of yin and yang, and acupuncture can rebalance the imbalance. It therefore is a panacea, a treatment for every human disease. This philosophy is not based on the known facts about human physiology and pathophysiology. Meridians and acupuncture points are a myth. The traditional basis for acupuncture flies in the face of science.
