Are Autism and Vaccines Linked?

Are Autism and Vaccines Linked?

Over the last decade, autism has gone from a rare and misunderstood condition to a disorder that may affect as many as 1.5 million Americans. Without a clear explanation in sight, parents and doctors have worked tirelessly to pinpoint the cause of autism, but the answer remains elusive. Are vaccines the missing link?

Genetic Cause is a Ridiculous Argument

There is no such thing as a sudden genetic epidemic. Genes do not change that quickly. Get a clue. Something in the environment has changed to poison susceptible children.

Could it be Bush's 2004 decision to deregulate coal-fired power plants, which belch 48 tons of mercury each year? Or could it be the June, 2000 industry-wide decision to continue poisoning children? This increases sales of drugs to treat autism, ADHD, asthma, diabetes and other autoimmune diseases, all of which have skyrocketed after each increase in thimerosal dosage.

    Perhaps a little of both.

“There is no such thing as a sudden genetic epidemic. Genes do not change that quickly. Get a clue. Something in the environment has changed to poison susceptible children .”

How much of the increase in autism is due to changing diagnosis techniques? Could it be that most cases of mild autism were unreported 15-20 years ago? If an examination of the current autistic population was done using older diagnostic techniques would there still be a visible increase?

“Could it be Bush's 2004 decision to deregulate coal -fired power plants, which belch 48 tons of mercury each year? Or could it be the June, 2000 industry-wide decision to continue poisoning children?”

Our opinions are worthwhile only to the extent that we support them with credible evidence and sound reasoning. Everything else is either superstition or the same hot air we can get from a drunk in a gin mill.

Yet the presence of thimerosal is on the decline. It is no longer used in vaccine production, so the only source is from dwindling reserves. Thus if thimerosal is a strong cause of autism we should be seeing a decrease in the number of autism cases.

      “Perhaps a little of both.”

Or perhaps neither… Without evidence to support your claims all you have is speculation. When there is evidence to the contrary, as there is regarding mercury in vaccines , the it isn’t even speculation anymore.

    This is your argument?

That would mean that the autism epidemic in China, Australia, Canada, Europe and the US have all been caused by a genetic mutation. Do you understand how this sounds?
